to jucishockwave,
just b/c you lose weight doesn’t mean you’re healthy…I can eat fast food 3 times a day as well and lose weight since I have a fast metabolism..you may be active but eating like crap will only catch up to you..weight is only one way to gauge a person’s health..as far as you gaining weight on healthy foods, you simply were eating too many calories and were not keeping track of them by any stretch, which shows your lack of education in health

Ditto to pianosurgeon. Eating late can create an insulin response that will drive unused glycogen into your belly fat

Not eating late is NOT a myth. Anyone who has successfully lost weight will recognize this.

Not eating late is one of the biggest myths ever. Your body doesn’t know what time it is. Its about calories burned v/s calories taken in.

No anerexia is not a phsical disorder, I am hyperactive eat 2350 Kcalories a day, you can be 40 lbs underweight and still not be nervosic, dangerously slim but not anerexic or nervosic.

are you anerexic? (i dont mean to get personal, nosey or offensive) i’m just asking. Because i am minorly anarexic…but not balemic (sp?)

I really don’t think someone would go out to eat w/o planning to do it, you don’t just drive by mcdonalds and decide you’re gonna get yourself a big mac unless you’re a food addict

This was very inspirational and uplifting, I may incorporate some of this into my fitness competion

An alternate route that has no fast food places? What planet does she live on?

I love Lewis Black too but next time come up with your own opinion. Although I agree that one thing that’s good for one person could kill another.

Yeah, but I heard the effects are very minimal.

The sad truth is, no one really knows what is healthy and what is not. There’s a guy in New York who is over 100 yrs old and said that bacon is too lean for breakfast. If he eats “healthy” foods, in just a week he dies. It depends on the person. We still have a lot to learn when it comes to health. I’ve lost more weight by eating fast food kids’ meals three times a day than I did when I started to eat “healthy” foods. No one is the same. The only true way to know what works is by experimenting.

bottom line, a lack of carbs will screw with your brain function. so youll be thin, at the cost of your brain power.
December 16th, 2008 at 12:02 am
Bottom line only a Atkins or Protein power lifestyle with get you thin and keep you there. Meat, green veggies, nuts, seeds, berries is the way to go. Low cal you ask? Forget it you will never keep the weight off you lose you will gain it back!
