I’m using the Atkins diet currently, but want to know, when I reach or become near my goal weight, if I switch to another diet that allows more carbs, will I gain weight? I exercise 3-5 times per week for an hour to two hours and have maintained the same weight for about 5 years now. Assume the diet I switch to is a reasonable, (food pyramid), and that I will not be irresponsible by or the like. Gaining is of no concern, simply whether or not fat gain would occur from my body immediately leaving ketosis.
